Buchanan County Conservation and the Independence Public Library
are teaming up to offer a series of after-school events for local
tweens and teens. Programs will take place on Wednesdays in
the Community Room of the Independence Public Library and will be
led by Jennifer Webster, a Buchanan County Conservation Naturalist. For more

Fly a Kite
Feb. 3 @ 3:30 pm
Jennifer Webster, Buchanan County Conservation Naturalist, will
be at the library to help teens create a one-of-a-kind recycled
kite and take it out for a spin. This free program will be held
in the Library's Community Room.
Scatology
Feb. 10 at 1:30 pm

be at the library to help teens make replica animal scat using
candy. You get to eat the candy! This free program will be held in the
Library's Community Room.
Treasure Hunt in a Bottle

treasure hunt in a bottle with natural materials.
