SPELLBOUND!

Spellbound was a great success!
All 350 tickets sold, 52 businesses and organizations
sponsored the event, it was a night of great fun and good food, and $22,961
was raised for the new library! This brings the current campaign total to
$3,029,008. The library is working towards raising the stretch goal of
$3.1 million to accommodate changes in construction costs and to begin a library
endowment fund.
A big thanks goes to all the people involved in
making this a success...Beta Chi of Beta Sigma Phi, LACES, PEO - the groups that
organized and ran the event! Nancy Dodge, Jacquie McTaggart, Colette
Greenley, Sondra Seward, Judy Olsen, John Klotzbach, Carol Iverson, and Laura
Blaker were part of the core committee.
Thanks to our letter sponsors from 52
businesses and organizations, all of the
in-kind donors, the Lazy River Jazz Band, Mike and Ryan Ruffcorn (emcees),
our spelling teams, Randy Miller (auctioneer) and the 350 people who bought tickets and attended the
event.
What a great evening of celebration!
