Your Library Connection
Through the Eyes of a Child
In the last five years, the Independence Public Library visits have increased by 35%. The number of visits in 99-00 was 33,815 and the number of visits in 04-05 was 45,757!
Following are some comments from a few of our young
patrons. Mrs. Hill’s second grade
class came to the library last fall. All
of us have a great time learning about libraries and reading when groups visit
the library. If you have a group
you would like to bring to the library, please give us a call. Here is a small sampling of the thank you letters we received
from Mrs. Hill’s second grade class:
Dear Librarians,
Thank you for letting us come to the library.
I learned a lot from you librarians.
I liked the trip there.
Your friend,
Victoria Evens

I like the third story.
