How to set up your account online...

Have you ever wanted to renew your book online instead of calling the library? Or you would like to see a complete list of the materials you have checked out from the library and their due dates? Now you can do all of this online! Create your account by following these steps:

Go to the library's homepage
Click on Destiny Web Catalog in the upper right hand corner of the web page.
Click on Independence Public Library (center of page)
Click on Create Account (upper right hand corner)
Enter your last name
Enter your library card number
It should bring up your name and will ask for you to select and type a Username and Password (write these down or devise a way to remember them)
You should now have an online account and will be able to Login with your Username and Password when you go to the Web Catalog.

Use it to renew, reserve, find out what you have checked out, create a personalized list, etc.
