| Friends Adopt-a-Periodical | |
Special thanks to those who have already donated a periodical or periodicals! The Friends donated $250 for periodicals plus the Saturday Evening Post, BankIowa continues to donate 6 periodicals each year...this year they will be Bicycling, Decorative Artist's Workbook, Fitness, Modern Bride, US Weekly, and Working Mother. The Buchanan County Master Gardener's donated Garden Gate, Marlys Brownlee donated BusinessWeek, Gary Buresh donated Annals of Iowa, Mary Stevenson adopted Field and Stream in memory of Josiah Bentley, Steve Pederson adopted Runner's World, Vicky Meythaler donated The Atlantic, C.E. Gillihan donated Newsweek, and the Independence Garden Club donated Mother Earth News and Organic Gardening.
Below are additional titles that we would love to have on our shelves. If you or your organization would like to adopt a periodical, please talk with a library employee. If you would like to adopt a title not on the list we just need to make sure the magazine would fit our selection policy. Please talk with Laura Blaker or Amy McGraw about titles not listed.
